10 Types of People Who Post on Instagram

Instagram is a mobile phenomenon and it poised to become synomomus with taking mobile photos.

I was going through my instagram feed and I have found many types of people who use the popular photo sharing service.

1. The food poster
   This  person is most likely a foodie and posts every meal they make or meal at a restaurant.  This can be good or bad, because we  judge people on what and where they eat.
2.  The mirror /self-portrait poster
   This person stands in front of a mirror and holds their phone and posts what they are wearing. Sometimes this incites slander, or if you are good looking woman it brings you likes and more comments.
3.  The family poster
   I fall into this category. You post cute or not-so-cute photos of your kids, dogs, or any other activity. If they get dressed up for church, there is a post. If your kids are at a soccer game, you post a pic. If the kids make a funny face, you post.  These posts can be annoying to people who don’t have kids or who are just tired of seeing your cute little ones
4.  The current view poster
   This person is an avid traveler and has taken many trips and shares and geotags the location. You either get jealous because where they are or you comment and say “I’ve been there too.
5.  The business poster
   This person posts only the high level meetings they are involved with. It must be a company like Apple, Google or some high-tech company so everyone can see they have “arrived” and they can handle business.
6.  The music poster
   This person takes screenshots of Pandora, iTunes and Spotify.  If you don’t like their eclectic taste in music you will be judged.  You also get to know a person better by seeing what type of music they enjoy.  Their posts usually don’t include mainstream artists or known songs, because this person wants you to know that they have a vast collection of musical tastes.
7.  The tweegram poster/someecards posters
   These are posts that are text on a graphic and are quite humorous. The person that posts these can be funny and/or irritating at the same time.
8.  The professional camera shooter/poster
   This is the person who transfers his photos from his professional DSLR Canon or Nikon and you are left wondering why your photos don’t look as good.
9.  The collage poster
   This person uses a 3rd party app like diptic, picstich, or InstaCollage to take multiple photos to fit into the instagram frame. They spend a lot of time creating these masterpieces in trade for many likes.
10.  The comedy posterThis is the person who takes photos of other people clothing, sleeping or something quite funny for others to share. The only problem is that everyone is connected and chances are if a face is shown, someone may know the person. These posts can be raunchy at times, but they do provide comic relief.
