I am always drawn to fellow creatives, and Dan Webber is a photographer, videographer and best of all, a Christian man. I had the pleasure recently of spending an extended amount of time with Dan as we went to New York City to look at camera gear at our favorite store, B & H Photo Video. During lunch Dan shared with me a great story (while he was working at Adventist Mission) of how he filmed a story in Africa during a torrential downpour, and I won’t even try to describe it in words, but it was one of the most fascinating mission stories I have ever heard. It wasn’t because of the subject, but the sheer will to capture the story. Dan now works as Associate Director of Communication at the North American Division and he is working with, George Johnson.
This tandem will do amazing work for the church and I am excited to see what they will produce. Below is one of my favorite videos Dan produced, it’s about the church in Italy and in under 4 minutes, it shows what challenges they face.
Why Dan is Amazing
Dan is always pushing the creative envelope and keeps up with the latest in technology and is an excellent storyteller. After years of traveling the world he is back home in North America to lend his amazing talents to us all.
