Thanks to the Chris Fenwick and the Adobe webcasts I have seriously considered and basically switched my workflow to Adobe Premiere. I have read so many articles attended all four webinars and giving up Final Cut Pro to me is like giving up my favorite car. You know its old and you need to get rid of it, but you keep holding on for old times sake. I am not going 100% off FCP for now, as I still have client projects that I am working on in Final Cut. The DSLR footage and no transcoding for me was something that put me over the top. I am so sure FCP will and must have this in the next release, but until then I am switching and getting the *side eyes* from my fellow editors for doing so.
I want to use the tool that is best for the job. I am a firm believer that competition makes everyone better.
