The more I use various video editing systems, the more that can be up for debate. As a media teacher I want to give my students relevant experience for the latest software. I made the decision to teach my class Final Cut Pro X instead of going with the established software Final Cut Pro 7. There are pros and cons with both, but in the end I always tell my students once you know the principles of video editing you should be able to move to any software platform .
