Here are some behind the scenes photos from the shoot with Damone Brown as director of photography and Robert Kennedy, III as director. We had a very good time on the shoot and had a great meal with Pastor and Mrs. Medley. A special thanks to Sheldon Kennedy for writing the script and all of the coordination. 

I often tell my students that short video shots can sometimes take longer than longer shoots because of what needs to go into them. We had a good time on this shoot and I look forward to working with them again.

This video was done for the Adventist Event Planners Association. We had a fun time doing it and I will post some behind the scenes videos soon.

I shot my first beach wedding this weekend and I had a good time. I will be blogging the experience soon, but I paused for a few to be in front of the camera.

This is a behind the scenes video I shot for Praizevision.com for an anniversary concert in New York City.

I finally tested  my iPad 2 video capabilities when I did behind the scenes footage for a video shoot at Community Praise Center Church.

Here are my findings:

• iPad 2 video works best outside on an overcast day (that way you can see what you are filming and footage will come out better)
• It pics up video articfacts you can see when it looks over exposed or when the video is "hot"
• The front facing camera is not good at all, its SD quality and mostly for FaceTime.
• You look a little akward holding that screen, but you can hold it fairly steady.
• iMovie software on the iPad 2 was very easy to use and intiuative.

I enjoyed shooting with the iPad 2, but I will use it for family and behind the scenes videos, there won't be a need to give up my gear.
